I am taking a bit of a diversion from the usual food blogging today and posting a photograph taken by me which was published in my local newspaper. This is the first time that a photo taken by me has been acknowledged by a newspaper and I was thrilled to see my name below it .

I loved the picture and your blog too. It is like meeting someone new and making friends with a warm nice human being. I went through your entire blog and some of your recipes like phodnichi poli reminded me of my maharashtrian friends Dabba. I plan to try some of your recipes. Thanks for taking the time to take photos, writing it up and posting it. It is a very hard task but seeing so many food blogs by Indians all I can say is "wow".

That's such a beautiful picture. Many people send their pics to our local news station and they show them on TV. It is like one of those wonderful pics worthy of television too! Great job!!!
